It’s all about the story.
After achieving a 1st class honours degree in Photography at the University of the West of England, pursuing her passion for storytelling through imagery, Izzy transitioned her learning into filmmaking. Having spent the last nearly decade working around the world on documentaries, for films on George Michael, filming Naomi Campbell in London, Jean Paul Gaultier in Paris, Sir Tony Bennett in Manhattan, to filming Lennox Lewis in Jamaica, immersing herself into worlds so far apart.
Continuing her pursuit for adventure and experience, Izzy left London for British Columbia in 2017, settling in Vancouver, followed by the remote and beautiful Vancouver Island, until just this year. During her time spent in Canada, Izzy started work on her first feature length documentary, a project about a young Indigenous First Nations horse-woman, based in the heart of Siksika Nation, the wild and rugged Prairies at her family ranch. Throughout her career as a photographer and filmmaker, Izzy has been privileged to engage with people the world over and continues to feel honoured and humbled through her experiences. Her fascination with creativity and the human condition is what drives her.
